Relationship Therapy

Why Relationship Therapy?

Every relationship has a unique dynamic, be it monogamous, consensual non-monogamous (CNM), polyamorous, open, or any other relationship structure. When this dynamic isn't working out, you can feel off balance and lose your groove.

Relationship therapy offers a supportive, poly-affirming, and non-judgmental space to better understand where things may have shifted in your relationship and how to find your way back to a stronger connection. With the help of an experienced therapist, you’ll have someone who can gently notice and point out unhelpful patterns or blind spots that might be hard to see on your own. Together, we’ll work towards creating healthier ways of relating and communicating.

When is it Time for Relationship Therapy?

Relationship therapy can be beneficial at every stage of a relationship. You don’t have to wait until things are falling apart to seek support. Therapy is also a proactive step when:

  • You want to ensure your relationship continues to grow in a healthy direction

  • You’ve noticed your connection feels strained, volatile, or disconnected

  • You feel like your growth as a couple/polycule has slowed down

Common areas of focus include:

  • Setting and respecting boundaries

  • Strengthening assertive and effective communication

  • Managing difficult emotions like jealousy, resentment, or anxiety

  • Navigating social stigma and discrimination

  • Reigniting intimacy and meeting sexual needs

  • Balancing time, energy, and emotional availability among partners

  • Repairing trust and resolving conflict

  • Patterns of unresolved conflicts without forgiveness

  • Sexless relationships or other intimacy issues

  • Infidelity and rebuilding trust

  • Cohesion in decision-making or problem solving

  • Creating cohabitation harmony

  • Fusing finances and money matters

  • Communication style and active listening

My Approach

The goal of relationship therapy is to improve your ability to effectively communicate with each other with more compassion, empathy, and hopefully reignite intimacy. This is a highly collaborative process and offers an opportunity for growth that you both can experience together.

I provide a safe, confidential, and collaborative space to explore your relationships, however they’re structured. My style blends compassionate curiosity, warmth, and a touch of humor. My goal is always to build an authentic, trusting connection with the people I work with, so you feel fully supported in doing the work that matters most to you.
I draw from a variety of  techniques ranging from psycho dynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method, which are reliable tools to resolve issues and find long-lasting solutions. Every session is an opportunity to let yourselves be seen and increase a sense of connection.
